Water softener for apartments: do you need one?

Many people think water softeners are only for villas. But apartments get the same hard water, and often see the same white marks on glass, taps and kettles. The difference is space, not need.
Do apartments have hard water?
Yes. Hardness comes from minerals dissolved in the water supply, and building tanks don’t remove them. If you see white scale on your shower glass or inside your kettle, your apartment has hard water.
Why a normal softener doesn’t fit
A villa softener is a tall unit that sits next to the main line outside. Apartments rarely have that space, a drain nearby or a spare power socket. That is why most apartment owners never get one.
The apartment answer: Tru Soft Mini
The Tru Soft Mini is a compact, non-electric softener made for apartments, so it needs no power socket. On the free home visit we check your layout and show you exactly where it will go.
Paired with the Tru Flow, our slim two-stage filter, it treats the whole apartment: sand and chlorine out, scale stopped.
What about renting?
Both units are fitted by our own team without building work. Ask us on WhatsApp and we’ll talk you through it before you speak to your landlord.
Questions people ask

No. It is non-electric.
Will it fit in my apartment?
In most layouts, yes. We check on a free home visit and show you exactly where it goes.
